Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani and diamantaire Russell Mehta’s daughter Shloka Mehta got married in a glittering affair in Mumbai on Saturday evening at the Jio World Centre in the Bandra-Kurla Complex.
Former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie Blair, Google chief executive officer Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, politicians Praful Patel and HD Deve Gowda were among horde who graced Akash’s and Shloka’s wedding.
Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, and Karan Johar, as well as cricketer Hardik Pandya, danced away to singer Mika Singh’s live tracks. The baraat, hosted at a concourse inside the Jio World Centre, saw celebrities, including Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri, dancing with Nita Ambani to the thumping music played by musicians Vishal and Shekhar.

The wedding celebrations began with a dandiya night last month. A three-day show at St Moritz in Switzerland saw the music band The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s Chris Martin perform to an audience full of Bollywood stars, as well as a festival bash which was opened to the locals for two hours.
