Trump regarded Boston Protesters As “Anti-Police Agitators”

President Trump has tweeted in regards to the Boston protest march that has brought thousands to the city downtown on Saturday.

He applauded many protesters in Boston who are speaking against “bigotry and hate.”

Thousands of Counter protesters has marched in downtown Boston on  Saturday, the rally was largely peaceful response to a self prescribed free speech rally that has raised sparks of violence.

The march and rally came a week after the protests at Charlottesville, Virginia that turned deadly. Most of the march has peaceful ended, but the police has said 33 were arrested mostly due to disorderly conduct and assaults on police officers.

Trump has tweeted “Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston”, “Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you”.

But later he has tweeted in support of protesters saying they may heal decades old divisions.

He tweeted that “Our great country has been divided for decades”, “Sometimes you need protest in order to heal,&we will heal,&be stronger than before!”.

“I want to applaud many protesters in Boston who are speaking against bigotry and hate”. Tweeted Trump.

The rally was a coalition of mostly left-leaning groups and activists such as “Black lives matter” movements organized by Boston counter    protest. Some of them carried signs of “No Trump. No KKK. No racist USA”, “Americans against hate”. At times they chanted “Hey hey, ho ho, White supremacy has got to go” and “Black lives matter”.

The rally organizers had invited “libertarians, conservatives, traditionalists, Classical liberals, trump supporters or anyone else who enjoys their right to free speech”.

After the Boston rally trump has tweeted “Thanks and great job” to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.

Walsh tweeted earlier on Saturday, “ I ask everyone to be peaceful today and respect our city”, he wrote. “ Love not hate , we stand together against intolerance”.

By 1:30 p.m, the rally has ended, the police have tweeted that “Free speech rally is officially over”, “ Demonstrators have left the common”.
