Nandamuri Balakrishna is busy with the shoot of NTR which is the biopic of his father and legendary actor NTR. The film is directed by Krish and is slated for next year release. All the important aspects from NTR's life have been picked and all the characters that share a prominent place will be shown on screen. Krish took enough time and finalized several actors who are apt for the assignments. Veteran actor Naga Babu has been roped in to play a pivotal role in NTR and the actor gave his nod recently.

Naga Babu will be playing SV Ranga Rao, one of the legendary actors of Telugu cinema. SV Ranga Rao and NTR worked together for many blockbusters and they shared close bonding. Naga Babu was quite happy with the offer and stepped out with a positive nod. Vidya Balan, Rana Daggubati, Nandamuri Kalyanram and others will be playing other pivotal roles in NTR. Balakrishna's NBK Films along with Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media are producing NTR. The film will release during Sankranthi 2019.
