Sachin ends speculation of retirement

Sachin’s retirement has off late caught up lime light and had become the centre of attraction for most media sources. But the master batsman shows his tough side.

Sachin Tendulkar, the cricketer whose name is the maximum printed name in the history of cricket, globally. This master blaster faced innumerous controversies in the recent past for his batting performances. True that Sachin took almost a year to score his 100th 100, but never was under performance threat in maximum number of encounters. But failures are a part of life and Sachin has never cost the team a defeat with his failure and many a times has brought victory with his innings. In fact he was one of the rare players who came back after several gaps of injuries only to rule supreme. This one issue media and critics have to evaluate while speaking about the stalwart.  And mark you he is the most agile player between the wickets even to this day among many players across the world. Nobody would of course deny the fact.

In a bold media interview on Sunday the Master blaster this time very unusual of him blasted his critics who threw tantrum of retirement over him.  He is quoted as "When I first started playing cricket, it was on my own. Those who are advising me about my retirement did not bring me into the team." He was firm about his retirement and said "The day I don't have (Passion and commitment) it, I will think about retirement."

The master blaster’s records are surpassing all bench marks and have set standards of unreachable peaks for the coming youngsters in the game. In 1989 debut against Pakistan, the little master scored nearly 34,000 international runs and has a record of maximum tons too. His ton at the Asian Cup 2012 against Bangladesh was his long awaited 100th 100. This only proves the prowess of the star performer and binds the team management not to look beyond him.

As of now the master blaster is the major crowd puller for the matches in which India is playing. And no country would ever think looking beyond such a personality who not only pulls crowds to the venues but also aids the sponsorships from major corporate with his presence. And Sachin is Sachin the indomitable force ever in the cricketing world. (With inputs from internet- AarKay)
