Riding high on the success of its sequel musical blockbuster Aashiqui 2, T-Series have clapped off its new venture.
Starring none other than Bollywood “Rockstar” Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, T-Series' new venture titled “Roy” is replete with action, drama and romance.
This would be T-Series' debut foray into the world of youth-centric film with “Roy”.
Ranbir, who plays the title role in the film, will share screen space with Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Touted as a “slick and larger than life film”, this film will star Ranbir in a never-before-kind of a role. Asserts the makers.
Debutant director Vikramjit Singh is at the helm of the movie that is being produced by Divya Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and Kishen Kumar under the banner of T-Series. Singh has also done the screenplay for the movie.
The film is slated for release on 20th June 2014.
